You came home tired. Every bone in your body asked for rest. As you entered your house, you were struck by the silence. Usually Prussia would hug you and trill you around when you entered the house. Maybe he went drinking with his brother, he did that once a week. You went to change into something more comfortable. Then you went into your office and went to turn on your computer. It was then that you noticed a sticky note on it. It said "Leibling, let's play a little game. Follow all the clues and you will find me." Oh, you were to tired, you didn't have any more effort in you. But knowing Gilbert you had to go along with the game or he would never let this go.You turned the sticky note around and found the first clue. "I am not in this room, but I'm somewhere you wish to be." "I wish to be in bed." you groaned. Well you guessed you had to check your bed then. When you entered your bedroom you saw a paper that had an arrow pointing to your bookcase. Why did he have to do this to you, he surely must have known how tired you were. You stared at your bookcase, looking for a clue. Then you found Prussia's most recent journal, in between your books. You guessed he had written the clue there. So you opened the journal to the current date. There he wrote "Very good, Leibling. I guess you are very tired. Don't you wish you could go to the land of dreams? So you could reach the STARS." You knew he was teasing you and that annoyed you. But you had to finish this little game. So you looked at the writing again, but you couldn't focus. You were just so tired. It took you quite some time to figure out that he capitalized stars for a reason. You turned around and walked to your huge bedroom window. When you looked out you noticed how clear the night sky was. The full moon was out and the night was bright. It looked very beautiful, especially the huge tree in you back yard. Maybe huge was an exaggeration  But the bench/swing that was on the tree looked very comfortable to sit on. You were calmed by the scene,  but there was no sign of Prussia. When your mind was wondering, trying to think of another way to interpret STARS. *BAM* out of no where Prussia was right in front of your face the only thing between you two was the window. Your heart was racing, practically trying to jump out of your chest and run away faster than a champion racing horse. When your mind cleared up you saw Prussia outside of your window, laughing his butt off. He was laughing so hard, he was crying. And guess what? The sleepiness was scared right out of you.
You went outside to go tell off Prussia. But when you saw the smile on his face your anger melted away. After he calmed his laughing fit, he went up to you and gave you a hug. " I'm very sorry Leibling, you just looked so vulnerable  I couldn't help my self." He then loosened his hold on you and stared intently into your eyes, waiting for forgiveness. You accepted his apology, " It's okay Prussia, but you'll get what's coming to you." He looked relieved but afraid at the same time. And that humored you. But why did he go to the trouble of writing all the notes if he just wanted to scare you. "Gilbert, why did you want me to come outside?" you looked at Gilbert waiting for an answer. He then hid in the crook of your neck and you felt his blush. He then mumbled into your ear "Well I just wanted to show my Leibling the beautiful sky, and spend time with her under the watch of the stars." This surprised you, Gilbert only showed this sweet side once in a while. But when he did he was the sweetest man in the world. You felt his warmth leave you, but he took hold of your hand and pulled you toward the swing. He then sat down and sat you next to him. He put his hands around you and he started to rock the swing back and forth. You stayed in each others arms enjoying the warmth and the freshness of the night. You could hear the cricket sing and the soft squeaks of the swing. You laid your head on his shoulder, and you both looked at the glistening stars. Every once in a while you stared at the reflection of the night in Prussia's red eyes. He was so focused in the stars he didn't notice himself starting to hum. He was humming the lullaby he used to sing to Germany; when Germany was still a little boy. You started to drift off, and slowly you surrendered to the sleepiness you had. Right before you closed your eyes you saw a shooting star, and you found yourself asleep. Through the veil of sleep you heard Prussia whisper to the sky, "Thank you shooting star, for giving me a star of my own." You then felt warm soft lips on your forehead, you smiled in your sleep at the feeling. At the presence of your smile Prussia couldn't help but feel a smile of his own. There you stayed asleep in Prussia's protective arms as the night grew old and gave way to a new day.
